Victorias May Inspiration Card uing Our Wedding Day

Hi. It's Victoria stopping by today. I'm here to share my inspiration post for this month using this gorgeous Cute As A Button image called Our Wedding Day. You can find more of these stunning images at the Cute As A Button Store.

I've coloured her with Touch Five Markers and Pencils. I've created a diamond fold card which can fold flat for postage. I've embossed and coloured the edges of the background paper. I added lots of die cuts to create the frame around the image. Then I've embellished with premade flowers and butterflies. I hope you like my card.

We'd love it if you could stop by and see the current challenge going on at the Cute As A Button Challenge Blog and the Progressive Challenge on the Cute As A Button Facebook Group.

Thank you for stopping by today.

Run The Good Race

 The inside of my card!
Good Morning! I hope everyone has a free day to craft. Since it is the season for track events I thought I would use this fun stamp called "Run the Good Race".  I hope it inspires you to check out the fun sport stamps you can find at Cute As A Button! I colored this stamp with Copics. The die cut is from Marianne Designs. Some pretty pearls and design paper from Stampin' Up finished off this card. Have a great day and be sure and check out the Cute As A Button Shop!

Margaret's inspiration post

Hello, it is my turn to do an inspiration post for Cute as a Button

I have done another journal page in the journal I am making for my second grand daughter.

I covered journal page with white gesso, then sponged with Coffee bean brilliance ink.  Stamped some stamps from Limited Edition clear stamps Art parts around the edges.
Stamped more of the stamps on a piece of Steampunk paper from Bearly Mine designs.  Painted over stencil with moulding paste onto the paper and when dry sponged some of it with distress ink and layered paper onto journal page.
Printed Cute as a Button Steampunk Evelyn, coloured her with markers, cut out and layered on top.   Cut out the sentiment that comes with the stamp and layered on top.

I hope you will go over to the challenge blog  http://cuteasabuttonchallenge.blogspot.com.au/
and join in the  May challenge

Flying Away With You

How to make this fun slider card:

To make this super easy, yet super fun slider card you need to start with an 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" piece of card stock, 3-3/4" x 5-1/8" piece of solid cardstock and a smaller piece of cardstock about 1/2" x 2-1/2".

Fold all of the score lines then figure out how you want the front of your card to look...You can cut your line anyplace on your card front for your slider.  For this card I cut it about 1" in on the left side.  Using your smaller piece of cardstock (1/2" x 2-1/2") put it through the slit, this will be your slider piece.  On the inside you will place your double stick tape so it will stick to the 3-3/4" x 5-1/8" piece of cardstock and place a pop dot on the piece that is stick out to place your image.  I'm not very good at these tutorials so I'm going to give you a link I've used...just keep in mind how she did it is flexible (as far as where you can put the slit).  Here is the card I made using Hold Tight Please.  Yes, I did make her "balloon" string a lot longer.  I added some re-purposed balloons from a store bought card, added some flowers, gems and used a fun edge punch.
