February Inspiration by Judy

Hey there everyone!
It's Judy here with my inspiration project!

This month I decided to create a wedding card using

I colored the image with Prismacolor pencils and fussy cut.
Then I chose a background DP paper from
Joy's Vintage Papers by Paper Pizazz.
I matted the DP with gray card stock to go on
my pink card base.

Next I decided to use Renaissance Jubilee Spellbinder's dies
to frame the couple.  The frame was adhered to the DP panel.
I pulled out some pearls in various sizes.

The image was added to the frame and is now
ready for some embellishing.

And...wahlah, a finished project!

Victoria's Febuary Inspiration Post using High Stakes

Hello!! It's Victoria here I'm stopping by to share my inspiration post. I've created this using  Cute As A Button's image called High Stakes. This image is one of may animal images that can be found at the Cute As A Button Store. Perfect for a good luck card but I've made it into a guys birthday card to show you it's versatility.

I've coloured it Spectrum Noir Markers and Pencils. I cropped out extra chips within the image coloured and fussy cut them out to use as embellishments. I die cut some card shapes and added playing card details. With one of the playing card that I made I accordion folded it and put a loom band in the middle. I then opened it up and stuck it down to create a handmade bow. The sentiment is from a From The Heart digital stamp. I hope you like my card.

We'd love it if you could stop by and see the current challenges going on at the Cute As A Button Challenge Blog and a Progressive Challenge on the Cute As A Button Facebook Group.

Thank you for taking the time to read my post.

Happy crafting everyone.

Inspiration for February! By Patty Chapman

Good-morning! It's Patty here in cold, snowy and flooding Idaho. I thought I would think about something besides the weather and share a little inspiration with you.  I used "Polish Best Friends" for my card. I framed her with a pretty die and some cute paper flowers. I added some glitter glue to my flowers to give them a bit of sparkle. Love that sparkle! Don't you?
Have a great day and enjoy your day by taking some time to craft!

Margaret's Cute as a Button inspiration post for February

It is my turn to do an inspiration post for February.
I have done another mixed media journal page.

I coloured page with blue and green Ecoline Brush pens.  Sprayed with water to create texture.  Drew hills with pink Ecoline Brush pen (which became dark purple when painted over the the blue.   Painted over cloud stencil with texture paste.  This didn't show very well when dry so I painted over the clouds with white paint.  Stamped over the green with grass stamp.
Punched leaves and added flowers which I coloured with red marker.
Printed Cute as a Button stamp May the holy spirit be with you.  (This is one of two stamps in the set)
Coloured stamp with markers, cut out and layered on top.
Printed sentiments from We are 3 Be-attitudes sentiments set, cut out, sponged some with red distress ink and layered on top.

21st Birthday Creation

For this fun creation I used We Are ONE Body Ladybug Fairy.  I saw this awesome video on how to make this Twist & Pop-Up card and had to give it a try.

I made this card for my boyfriend's Niece's 21st birthday.  I asked what he thought she would like and I was told she liked bright colors with a dark base.  Then he gave me a list of colors.  I think I managed every color he said in this one.  I colored the image using colored pencil then used some Stickle and Glossy Accents.  I added some gems, lace, ribbon, and roses.   On the inside I created my own sentiment and used a butterfly punch and some gems for the other three squares.  Be sure to watch the video, it is very detailed on how to put these together well!

Thanks for looking!  Hope you love it!  Be sure to check my blog if you like the sentiment, I will be giving it away there as I do most of my sentiments.
