November Inspiration: Judy

Hello all!
It's my turn to provide a little inspiration here on the

I'v been in a holiday mode so
 I created a Christmas card

I colored the image with pencils and fussy cut.
Next I pulled out some card stocks
and a paper doily that coordinate with the colors I used.

I decided on an easel card style.
I created the base by taking an 8.5 x 11 inch
piece of red card stock and cut to 5.5 x 11 inches.
Next I scored along the 11 inch side at 2.75 and 5.5 inches
and folded along the score lines.
I cut a coordinating piece of printed card stock to 5.25 x 5.25 inches.
I cut a piece of white card stock to 4.25 x 4.25 inches
and cut a piece of red card stock to 1 x 5.25 inches.
These pieces were layered
and adhered to the bottom portion of the card base,
leaving a 1/8 inch border all around.

Next, I added a 5.25 x 5.25 piece of white card stock
to the inside of the card.
I cut a strip of white card stock and printed card stock,
layered and adhere with foam tape.
The "Merry Christmas" sentiment was
die cut with Crafter's Companion dies.

I added the red doily to the center of the white square.
The image was adhered to the doily with foam tape.
The doily was added to the front to complete!

Victorias November Inspiration Card using Snow Fox

Hello! It's Victoria here, I'm happy to be sharing my Christmas Card for my November Inspiration Card using the beautiful Snow Fox digital stamp. If you like this pretty image there are lots more wonderful digital stamps to suit all occasions over at the Cute As A Button Store.

I've coloured this beautiful image using a mix Touch Five Markers and Pencils. The sentiment I've pared the image with is from Desert Diva Blog. I used homemade texture paste to create textured falling snow. I've embossed white paper for the background. I've cut and coloured a whole bunch of die cuts to embellish the card with. I've stuck a bit of blue elastic lace ribbon to some card and stuck it to foam pads to create a stopper to lean the top section of the card up on.

We welcome you to come and join in the Progressive Challenge and post any Cute As A Button card's on the Cute As A Button Facebook Group. There is also the Anything Goes #39 Blog Challenge with the chance to win some Cute As A Button digital stamps that we'd love you to enter any creations.

I hope that you like my card and thank you for stopping by today.
