October Inspiration Judy

Hey all!

It's Judy here sharing my inspiration project for this month!

I chose to do an altered wooden letter project using

Circus Parade.

I started with a 9 1/2 inch wooden letter

and printed the digi.

I chose a cute printed paper I thought would work well.

I turned letter face down on the backside of the paper and traced

and then cut out.

I used acrylic paint to cover the backside and edges of the letter.

Once this was dry I applied the cut out paper to the front

of the letter with decoupage medium. The next step was

to use the medium as a sealer over the paper.

While this dried I fussy cut the image which was colored

to match the paper.

Next I decided where to place the image and a banner

I put together with die cuts, glittered sticker letters

and baker's twine.

Once these pieces were adhered I punched and layered some flowers

and pulled out some buttons.

Once I had everything placed and attached I decided

to add some die cut leaves as the last touch.

I think this would make such a cute piece of nursery decor and hope that 

perhaps, I've inspired you to try a project like this.

August Inspiration By Lau

Hello !

It's Lau ! I want to share a little box for insert...chocolates inside ;-). I made it with the cute digital stamp : "Happiest Place On Earth". You can find this image HERE.
Hope you like it ! xx

I used red paper, Promarkers and Pencils and a Sizzix Die.

With a Scorpal, i made the folds.

I used Glue Dots to close the little box.

I colored the image.

And now my box is ok, don't forget to insert the chocolate ! :-))

July Inspiration by Judy

Hi all!

It's Judy here sharing my inspiration post for this month!

I thought it would make a quick and easy

fun birthday card appropriate for a boy

and chose this Juggling Clown digital stamp to use.

After coloring the image with pencil colors,
I gathered  a blank 5x6 1/2 in. card base, some papers and dazzles stickers.

I matted the solid card stock on the card base,
the image and some rectangles cut with my DP.

I arranged the pieces on the card base.

Added Dazzles banner, balloons and sentiment.

And I have a finished product!

So, my cappuccino is ready, a chocolate too ;-)....My papers are here, images, wood stamp (Stamps Happen), dies, so...Go !

I used Promarkers for my coulouring.

All the dies come from JoyCrafts.

And voilà !! My card is ready !

April Inspiration by Lau

Hello !

It's Lau ! I want to share a card with you today. I made it with the digital stamp "Beach Day" you can find in the store HERE. I want to show you how I make a sky ;-)

I will use Promarkers for my colouring, and Distress Ink for the Sky, and glamour Dust for the sand.....But but first I drink my cappuccino haha :-))

I colored my image, and I created my sky template. I mask my colored image.

With a sponge dauber, i'm doing my sky (Distress ink blue)

I move my template down and sponge again

I remove the masked image. I color the bottom of my card with Promarkers. I add glitter on the sand.

I add a sentiment (DCWV paper), a seagull (die Joycrafts) and a wooden starfish

et voilà !
