November Inspiration - Judy

Hi there!

It’s Judy here with my project share for this month!

I was in Dollar Tree a few weeks ago

and picked up some unfinished holiday signs.

I thought sure I could use them, in some way,

 for some of my paper crafting projects. 

So, I came up with a wreath, using one of those signs,

a chipboard wreath form and this image from

Cute As A Button.

Christmas Hat

I colored the image with Prismacolor Premier Pencils and fussy cut.

I painted the wreath form and the wood sign with acrylic paints.

I adhered the sign to the wreath with hot glue.

Next I hot glued greenery, berry picks and metallic pipe cleaners

to the lower edge of the wreath.

 The image and a bow were added and I decided to

add a few more berries on the upper portion of the wreath.

March Inspiration - Judy

Hey there everyone!

It's Judy here to share a little inspiration with you!

I really like altering the covers of composition books

to create something special that can be given

as a gift or kept for yourself.  They make great journals!

I decided to use the beautiful digital stamp called

"Peacock Mermaid".

I colored the image with Spectrum Noir ColourBlend Pencils.

 

The image was fussy cut and added to papers from
Craft Smith's "Mermaid Coast" 12 x 12 paper pad.

I added some glittery washi tape, ribbon and layered stickers.

The quote, "Tans fade. Memories last forever" was cut

from the paper pad with a tag punch.

February Inspiration: Judy

Hello everyone!

It's Judy here sharing my inspiration project
for this month!

I love making pop up box cards

and think this sweet fairy is perfect for one!

High Top Daisy Fairy

I started by coloring the image with Spectrum Noir Colourblend Pencils.

Next I fussy cut the image, pulled out some designer papers from Colorbok

and scored a piece of solid card stock for the box.

I assembled the box and applied the designer papers to the panels.

The image was attached to the center of the box.

I added some layered daisy stickers, greenery die cuts

and punched butterflies.

I stamped the sentiment and die cut with a tag die to complete the design.

January Inspiration: Judy

Hi there!

It's Judy here

sharing a twisted easel card I put together using

"Button Love".

I colored the image with Spectrum Noir Colourblend Pencils.

I pulled out a 6.5 x 5 inch card base, DP, white and purple card stock.

Next I scored the front of the card base diagonally

from the top right corner down to the lower left corner.

I cut the purple card stock to 6.5 x 5 inches

and adhered to the bottom of the card base along the score line.

I took the DP and matted with white card stock before 

adhering to the purple base.

I also matted the image, positioned a white paper doily

behind the image piece and adhered.

I added some buttons in various sizes and colors.

I created a border on the inside of the card

with the card stock, some die cut flowers 

and a stamped sentiment.

Small buttons were added to the card stock border.

I hope I've provided a little bit of inspiration to you today!

Hello!

It's Judy here to share little inspiration with you.

I created an inspirational decor piece using

Love Song

I started by gathering some materials:

the printed image

an inexpensive MDF frame from Michaels

some coordinating papers from DCWV's the Music Stack

I colored the image to match the papers and fussy cut.

I painted the backside of the frame and the edges of the front

with an acrylic paint. Next, I used the frame as a template

for cutting the DP I wanted to use on the front of the frame.

Then I cut out a section of the coordinating paper and printed

a verse I found that suited the image directly on the paper.

The piece of Dp cut for the front of the frame was decoupaged.

Next I embellished the frame with a doily and 

some layered floral stickers and a bow and popped the image with foam tape 

on the right side of the frame.

I placed the piece of DP with the verse where a photo

would normally go. And the piece is finished!
