April Inspiration - Judy

Hello all!
It's Judy here sharing my inspiration for this month!

I decided to create an easel card using

I started by printing and coloring the image with
Prismacolor pencils and fussy cutting.
Next I cut a 12x12 inch piece of mediam blue card stock down
to 12x5 inches. I folded the 12 inch side in half to create a
6x5 inch card base and then folded the front in half again
to form the easel.

Next I covered the front of the card with dark blue card stock,
cut a frame out of medium blue with a Paper Artist die
and adhered to white card stock.

I adhered the white piece to the card base.
I cut accent pieces from the die set in medium blue
and adhered to dark blue card stock and fussy cut around
to use as a background for the sentiment.

I popped the image on the white & die cut background with foam tape.
The sentiment piece was popped on the bottom of the card base.
I added some gems for the finished product!

I hope I've inspired you just a little bit today
and that you'll check out this set and the other products available at

Victoria's April Inspiration Card using Sitting Pretty

Hello! It's Victoria here stopping by to share my inspiration post for this month. I've created this using a Cute As A Button image called Sitting Pretty. I love this image so much. More stunning images can be found at the Cute As A Button Store.

I've coloured her with Touch Five Markers and Pencils. I've put diamond glaze on her eyes and lips to make them super shiny. I coloured the background with Distress Inks which I've embossed. I die cut the swirls and used a punch cutter for the mini flowers. I have computer generated the sentiment myself. I hope you like my card.

We'd love it if you could stop by and see the current challenges going on at the Cute As A Button Challenge Blog and a Progressive Challenge on the Cute As A Button Facebook Group.

Thank you for stopping by.

Karen's Inspiration Post - Combining images

Today I want to share a card with you that I made using two totally different images from Fracesca's store.  I used Hosanna Joshua and Cuddly Busty Buttons for this card.  Joshua was intended to be used for the current Easter Challenge, Buttons was intended to be a summer image, however my first thought when I saw Joshua was "he'd be cute holding that frond over a sun bathing beauty", so, that is what I did with him.  She was colored using glitter gel pens, he was colored using Stampin' write markers.  I kept it pretty CAS since the two images combined were busy enough (in my opinion).  I simply added some gems that I thought brought out the dots in her hat.

I'd love to see how you can combine two totally different images and make them work!
