November Inspiration: Judy

Hello all!
It's my turn to provide a little inspiration here on the

I'v been in a holiday mode so
 I created a Christmas card

I colored the image with pencils and fussy cut.
Next I pulled out some card stocks
and a paper doily that coordinate with the colors I used.

I decided on an easel card style.
I created the base by taking an 8.5 x 11 inch
piece of red card stock and cut to 5.5 x 11 inches.
Next I scored along the 11 inch side at 2.75 and 5.5 inches
and folded along the score lines.
I cut a coordinating piece of printed card stock to 5.25 x 5.25 inches.
I cut a piece of white card stock to 4.25 x 4.25 inches
and cut a piece of red card stock to 1 x 5.25 inches.
These pieces were layered
and adhered to the bottom portion of the card base,
leaving a 1/8 inch border all around.

Next, I added a 5.25 x 5.25 piece of white card stock
to the inside of the card.
I cut a strip of white card stock and printed card stock,
layered and adhere with foam tape.
The "Merry Christmas" sentiment was
die cut with Crafter's Companion dies.

I added the red doily to the center of the white square.
The image was adhered to the doily with foam tape.
The doily was added to the front to complete!
